Inaugural Concert of Young Musicians Live
Young Musicians Live is the charity project of Maximilian and Ayla Sophie Haberstock in collaboration with their musical friends. The group aims to share the joy of classical music by performing for a variety of audiences including disadvantaged children and the elderly as well as to develop music education programs for children.

On April 30th 2017 we were ready for our first Young Musicians Live concert, which was to mark the beginning of our group. Adriana, Ayla Sophie, Karl, Nathan, Claudia, and I performed at the charming concert hall of the retirement home Tertianum.
In this home, they place a lot of importance on music & the arts and even have their own monthly cultural program. Hence, it was clear to me that we would face not only a music-loving but also a somewhat demanding elderly public. Though the interest of the audience was apparent, the emotionality which followed caught me by surprise and really moved me.
The residents followed every piece attentively and made us feel very special with their applause. Towards the end, I saw one of the elderly ladies with tears running down her cheeks. This was a magical moment! It was amazing to see how we could give people a bit of joy while doing something we all loved.
